Welcome to Watercolor by Tina!

I'm your Watercolor Artist, Tina Drew. I’ve been practicing art since my childhood. I completed all the art classes available at Jasper High School with Mr. Fred Robberts and Mr. Tom Schum. While I was still in high school, I also took watercolor classes in the evenings with local artist, Herald Wright. I was majoring in Art Education at Cumberland College, when I decided to get married and start a family. So I didn’t get back to my art for many years, as I was raising my boys. With their encouragement, I started working on painting again. 

I’ve been focusing on watercolor as my main art medium since 2021. Also, I have been teaching watercolor in my local community since the beginning of 2023. I offer customized pieces, of which include portraits of loved ones, including pets. I’ve also painted beloved cars and favorite historical buildings and lovely homes. I also enjoy painting landscapes! Contact me if you would like to discuss a specific piece for your individual needs. I can paint a variety of watercolor styles, such as realistic, loose, impressionistic, minimalist artsy, and line & wash technique.
